Perpetuity. A big word, and not one you pull out on a daily basis. On the one hand it reminds me of the scary twins from The Shining, who wanted to play with Danny forever and ever and ever… On the other hand, walking around a cemetery like Bonaventure, you’re surrounded by perpetuity in a more serene way (at least during daytime).
But then again, as George Harrison sang: All things must pass. Even I guess, the carved stone of perpetuity. In the end, all will be recycled…
I get a feeling that I am just a small ant in the big picture.. time pass, people are being born, they are living their lives, and they are dying, without the rock moving an inch…
